How Does Our Phone Service Work?
Our phone service uses Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology, so all you need to access your service is an internet connection. Unlike a wireless or landline number, your VoIP number isn’t limited to a specific SIM card, location, or device. Because it’s cloud-based, you can access your service anywhere as long you have internet and a web browser (or our mobile app), just like email or any other online service.
If you decide to use our mobile app, you can download it through the App Store (Apple users) or the Google Play Store (Android users).
When setting up your line, you’ll be able to select a number with a local Virginia area code. You’ll also get to choose the individual or company name that shows up on your clients’ phones when you call (outbound caller ID). If you have any questions during the process, our customer service reps are standing by to help you establish your service and get started. All in all, it should take you about 5 minutes.
